Un folleto es una carta de presentación de una empresa, que puede utilizarse para dar a conocer su trabajo en general  y también, de una manera más específica, para promocionar ofertas o productos y servicios concretos.

Otro uso bastante extendido del folleto es el informativo, sin intención de generar ventas, pero si interés.

Sin importar si con el folleto queremos informar o vender, no cabe duda de que el objetivo principal de este soporte publicitario es llegar al mayor número de personas posibles, tanto a otros profesionales como a clientes particulares, y generar interés por una empresa y su producto. Por este motivo, el diseño debe ser una cuestión muy estudiada.

Las posibilidades que nos ofrece el diseño de un folleto son muy amplías: colores, tipografías, diferentes estilos de texto y tipos de plegado del folleto, que es en lo que se va a centrar este artículo.

Tipos de plegado de papel

En primer lugar, hay que destacar que el tipo de plegado va a influir en la distribución de la información. Esto se puede utilizar como una estrategia más en el modo de ofrecer la información al cliente.

En nuestro artículo de hoy, te ofrecemos tres ideas. Tres tipos de plegados de papel que puedes utilizar en la creación de folletos informativos y publicitarios.

Plegado en díptico. La lámina de papel se dobla en dos partes. Es el plegado de papel más sencillo y es perfecto para comunicar mensajes claros y simples, muy concretos o muy generales. Por ejemplo, se pueden utilizar para informar sobre los servicios de una empresa o dedicar todo el contenido del folleto a un producto en concreto,

Plegado en acordeón o zig zag. Este tipo de plegado es muy habitual, pero debe cuidarse la distribución de la información. El contenido, tanto textos como imágenes, deben estar colocados de manera que, tanto si abrimos por un lado como por otro, se mantenga la idea principal del mensaje que vamos a comunicar.

Por último, el plegado en tríptico envolvente. En el plegado en tríptico envolvente los pliegues se doblan sobre sí mismos. Cuando el folleto se despliega, el cliente va accediendo al contenido de manera progresiva. Cada cara debe contener significado propio, con sentido, independiente del resto de caras del folleto, pero a la vez guardar coherencia.  El reto de este tipo de plegado es la manera de ofrecer el contenido, ya que debe ser lo suficientemente interesante para que la persona que lo está leyendo continúe desplegando el folleto.
